Our structure and bodies

The General Assembly usually meets once a year. It elects the Supervisory Committee, discharges the Board of Directors from liability and decides on changes to the Constitution. The General Assembly is chaired by a person nominated by the Supervisory Committee. In the General Assembly, each member has one vote and can represent up to two other members. Specific regulations in connection with the General Assembly are made in the Constitution.

The Board of Directors implements the strategy. The managing directors are the legal representatives of Interpret Europe. They are personally liable for their decisions and appoint coordinators to organise own working teams. The activities of the Executive Management are generally based on an annual management plan derived from Interpret Europe’s strategic goals. Reporting is based on this plan. As the legal representatives of Interpret Europe (Board of Directors), the managing directors authorise coordinators to undertake tasks on their behalf. Interpret Europe is currently managed by one director and their office manager and by 21 coordinators who all have their own teams.
