Just a few days left until the end of early bird registration for our Spring Event ‘Crossing Borders’ from 19-21 May in Prague. The review of the paper abstracts has now been finalised. Check out what is waiting for you
The Review Committee selected 27 papers submitted by presenters from 15 countries. Papers will be delivered as workshops or presentations in four different strands:
- Developments in interpretation theory and practice
- Heritage interpretation in Eastern Europe
- Heritage interpretation in higher education
- Interpret Europe’s training programme
You can now find introductions to all workshops and presentations at Parallel sessions on our website. You can also find there the event programme, including information on our keynote speakers, an old town walk, the event venue and our Market of Ideas.
IE coordinators and their teams are invited to arrive on 18 May, one day in advance, to get into an exchange and to discuss how Interpret Europe can develop its internal structure.
IE certified trainers (CIGT) and guides (CIG) are invited to two pre-event courses in order to improve their skills:
- 16-17 May: Interpretive Guide Trainer Course for CIGs
- 18 May: Interpretive Host Trainer Course for CIGTs

Early bird registration ends soon. If you wish to register you should do this now. Registration costs €99 for Interpret Europe members registering by 31 March.
The registration fee covers the entire programme, including meals and the old town walk. Please use our online form to register for the Spring Event.
To allow for individual preferences, accommodation and one dinner are not included in the registration fee. Accommodation ranges from €10 per night (hostel with shared rooms) to €59 per night (4* hotel).
