Spring is almost upon us and those of you wanting to submit paper abstracts for our Spring Event should hurry. The deadline for our Call for Papers is 28 February – which is tomorrow!
Please use our online form for submission. We are looking for papers on interesting developments in the field of heritage interpretation but especially on interpretation in higher education and interpretation in Eastern Europe. All presenters will know whether their paper has been accepted by 15 March.
The IE Spring Event ‘Crossing Borders’ is taking place in Prague, on 19-21 May. Organised by SIMID, the Czech Association for Heritage Interpretation, it includes three keynote speeches, some 20 workshops and presentations and two study visits to the historic centre of Prague (World Heritage Site). Part of the programme will include tasters for all IE training modules, while our Market of Ideas offers participants the chance to present posters or use our Speakers’ Corner.
Registration is now open and the fee for IE members registering by 31 March is â¬99. This covers the entire programme, including meals and study visits. Please use our online form for registration.
To allow for individual preferences, accommodation and one dinner are not included in the fee. Accommodation ranges from â¬10 per night (hostel with shared rooms) to â¬59 per night (4* hotel).
Visit our Spring Event pages and if you need more information, do contact Michal Medek and Helena Vičič at springevent@interpret-europe.net.
We look forward to seeing you in Prague!
