In this webinar we will speak about the Islamic heritage in Croatia and how it can be effectively interpreted to both Muslim and non-Muslim participants The presentation will showcase Rijeka mosque which, with its combination of historical and modern styles, is one of the most beautiful mosques in Europe.
Ivana Karanikić (Croatia) has been passionate about Islamic culture and heritage for almost 20 years. Recently, after founding her destination management company [DMC], she was accredited as the only halal-certified DMC for all Western Balkans countries. She started then to work on raising awareness among visitors of the Islamic heritage and culture in Croatia. Since 2018, Ivana has been an IE Trainer and, since December 2022, the World Federation of Tourist Guides Associations’ National Trainer.
