IE Webinar: What we at Iziko Museums learned from our Humanity exhibition

Details

The Humanity exhibition at Iziko Museums of South Africa reimagines the story of human evolution as centered on the diversity of humans today and how we came to be this way. The webinar will reflect on iterative design, truth-telling, and challenging biases; explore what inclusive engagement looked like to us; and touch on effective methodologies used for translations and measuring sustainability. Our experience highlighted the power of telling universal stories while focusing on Afrocentric perspectives, and how this approach can create meaningful, inclusive exhibitions. If you wish to take part in the webinar, please register here at least one hour before the webinar begins. ***Please register using the same email address associated with your IE membership.***
