As part of the joint Learning Landscapes initiative, Interpret Europe and UNESCO are organising an online symposium, which will take place on 26-27 February 2026.

The Role of Narratives in 21st Century Heritage Interpretation is an online symposium taking place on 26–27 February 2026 and a key event in Interpret Europe’s 2026 programme. It highlights the organisation’s commitment to fostering professional exchange and continuous learning within the heritage interpretation community.

The symposium brings together a rich programme of international contributors, offering a wide range of perspectives, case studies and reflections on narratives in heritage interpretation today.
