Focus of the module: La signatura se integra en el Módulo de especialización en Patrimonio Artístico y Arqueológico con la intención de profundizar en el conocimiento de la Historia del Arte en relacion con el Patrimonio artístico y monumental. A través de su estudio, los alumnos se familiarizarán con la historia y las fuentes de estudio del Patrimonio artístico. Asimismo, podrán conocer la metodología necesaria para abordar la realización de inventarios y catálogos, fundamentales para garantizar la conservación de nuestro Patrimonio, así como un completo recorrido por la labor de análisi, interpretación y futura gestión.

BA Tourism, (one module: Interpretation of geographic heritage) within Social Sciences at Escuela Universitaria de Turismo de Santa Cruz de Tenerife
Focus of the module: Capacitar al alumnado para desenvolverse con garantías en diversos ámbitos relacionados con la puesta en valor e interpretación del patrimonio de carácter geográfico. Específicamente se preparará para el diseño y gestión de equipamientos y servicios interpretativos, el diseño y gestión de itinerarios temáticos, que le permitirán actuar como guía de turismo, guía-intérprete del patrimonio o guía-interprete de senderismo, acreditándose posteriormente donde sea preciso. Podrá asimismo desarrollar labores como profesional especializado/a empresas de turismo activo, interpretación del patrimonio y educación ambiental. La información turística (centros de visitantes, espacios naturales protegidos, oficinas de información turística) también será un campo que podrá explorar con la formación adquirida. Por último, tendrá conocimientos básicos para la investigación del potencial turístico del espacio geográfico.
