You’ll be pleased to hear that we were successful in applying for two EU-funded projects. This offers new opportunities for IE but we need to strengthen our project management capacities. The job involves, among others:
● Managing two EU funded projects: Erasmus + K2, a 30-month- project, starting in October 2024; and CREA-CULT 2024-NET, a four-year- project, starting in January 2025;
● Planning, documenting and reporting project activities;
● Managing project finances and reporting on them;
● Preparing and administering staff and service contracts in line with EU and German national regulations;
● Developing and implementing associated risk management plans and contingency plans;
● Developing and implementing associated quality assurance and evaluation plans;
● Manage two project teams with several WP leaders, supporters and stakeholders;
● Supervising progress of the project team, keeping control over timeline
responsibilities and activities;
● Cooperating closely with the Managing Director in any decision making;
● Communicating with funding agencies, tax authorities etc.;

The start date is 1 October 2024. Please count with the attendance at the Erasmus+ National Agency coordination meeting on 18 and 19 September in Stuttgart, Germany.

Required competencies
● A minimum of five years of professional experience in managing European-funded projects and their administration;
● Proficiency in the English language (written and oral);
● Excellent drafting, communication and presentation skills;
● Excellent (self-)management skills and attention to detail;
● Excellent team-working skills
● Excellent leadership and motivation skills;
● Ability to coordinate and implement multiple tasks and to meet deadlines.

Desired competencies
● Previous experiences with Erasmus+ and Creative Europe funded projects;
● Familiarity with the Funding&Tenders and Erasmus+ platforms;
● German language skills;
● Familiarity with EU and German regulations on tax and financial record-keeping or readiness and ability to acquire the necessary knowledge and skills;
● Registered business owner or holding self-employed status in any EU country and
therefore able to issue invoices for your remuneration;

● A trial period of three months: Oct-Dec 2024;
● An extended part time contract from January 2025 to December 2028;
● Payment that will be agreed based on your country of residence income standards.
