The 2nd Call for Modular project proposals of the Interreg MED Programme 2011402929 is now open. It closes on 31 March 2017 at 12:00 (Paris time)
 

Of interest for the IE community is the Specific Objective 3.1: ‘To enhance the development of a sustainable and responsible coastal and maritime tourism in the MED area’
 

Eligible countries:
EUMS

  • Croatia: the entire country
  • Cyprus: the entire country
  • France: 5 regions – Corse, Languedoc-Roussillon, Midi-Pyrenees, Provence Alpes Côte d’Azur, Rhône-Alpes
  • Greece: the entire country
  • Italy: 19 regions : Abruzzo, Apulia, Basilicata, Calabria, Campania, Emilia-Romagna, Friuli-Venezia Giulia, Lazio, Liguria, Lombardy, Marche, Molise, Piedmonte, Sardinia, Sicily, Tuscany, Umbria, Valle D’Aoste, Veneto
  • Malta: the entire country
  • Portugal: 3 regions: Algarve, Alentejo, Lisbonne
  • Slovenia: the entire country
  • Spain : 6 autonomous regions – Andalusia, Aragon, Catalonia, Balearic islands, Murcia, Valencia – and the two autonomous cities – Ceuta and Melilla

IPA Countries

  • Albania: the entire country
  • Bosnia-Herzegovina: the entire country
  • Montenegro: the entire country
  • United-Kingdom: 1 region of the economic Programme – Gibraltar

 

Eligible applicants:
local public authority; regional public authority; national public authority sectoral agency; infrastructure and (public) service provider; interest groups including NGOs; higher education and research; education/training centre and schools; enterprise except SME (working in the fields of sustainable tourism, protection and valorisation of natural and cultural heritage, risk prevention); SME (micro, small, medium enterprise, working in the fields of sustainable tourism, protection and valorisation of natural and cultural heritage, risk prevention).

Two different types of project are open:
SINGLE-MODULE: open for testing (M2) and capitalising (M3) modules only
Multi-module projects M2+M3 will not be accepted for this call.
INTEGRATED PROJECTS: studying (M1) + testing (M2) + capitalising (M3)
Integrated projects have to include all these modules.
