In Britain, we have an expression – ‘the early bird catches the worm’ – well time is short to get the ‘worm’, the best deal on our conference fees for October in Inverness. Don’t miss out!

You still have time to take advantage of the Early Bird rates for our autumn conference, Making connections: Re-imagining landscapes, in Inverness, Scotland, 3-6th October. The Conference Website has all the information you need to book and about a wide range of accommodation options in Inverness.

We have already confirmed our two keynote speakers: Carol Ritchie – Executive Director of Europarc Federation and Drew Benelleck – UK Head of Landscape and Natural Heritage for the Heritage Lottery Fund (HLF).

We can also now reveal the initial list of speakers in the parallel sessions throughout the three days of conference proceedings. We were over-subscribed by 100% for people wishing to speak and many have sadly missed out, but we are confident that we have an outstanding programme of presentations and workshops from the UK, the rest of Europe and further afield. The website lists the initial 32 presenters, all of whom are subject to confirmation, and we will be announcing several others shortly.

Planning is gathering momentum and we are looking forward to delivering an exciting and memorable event for IE members and others. Bookings are strong, so don’t miss out on the best offers – book now to secure the Early Bird rate!

See you in the Highlands in October.
