Check out this new, free service collating news and views on interpretation, particularly Experiential Interpretive Design (EID)

This is an invitation to check out a new thought-provoking blog on Experience Design in Interpretation.

The blog, developed by IE-member Dr. Lars Wohlers together with colleagues from North America, is a free service for everyone interested in interpretation in aquariums and zoos, parks and reserves, museums and monuments, gardens and galleries, historic sites, nature centres and outdoor learning centres.

This blog aims to help design holistic journeys where our natural and cultural heritage delights people of all ages while serving their unmet and evolving needs.

We want to promote this specific form of Experiential Interpretive Design (EID) through networking, workshops, coaching, and exchanging ideas. Check out our blog posts along with the rest of the EID site that outlines our mission, goals and principles: www.eidcoaching.com.

Dr. Lars Wohlers is an experiential interpreter who has worked for 12 years at the Leuphana University/Germany in the fields of Informal Education. Since 2006 he has been running his own interpretation consultancy company, KON-TIKI (www.kon-tiki.eu). You can reach Lars at: lars.wohlers@kon-tiki.eu.
