Heritage interpretation is an interdisciplinary field. While it involves a great deal of intuition and creativity in its practice, it is firmly rooted in an array of scientific disciplines. However, there are still a lot of unexplored territories and IE’s recently renewed Research Team has set out to identify research questions or topics that would be interesting and useful to explore.
Do you have a question related to heritage interpretation that has long bothered you, or you just recently bumped into? From small gaps to big issues, we would love to hear your opinion on which research questions and topics should be investigated!
