Our IE website has served us well over the past six years, but it now needs a makeover. We would like to redesign it to better support the IE community, both current and potential members, and to do this we need your opinions!
Our organisation is growing and we are continually adding new services and initiatives to reflect your needs and expectations. We do, however, need a better framework for them so that you can get to what you want in the minimum of clicks, whether you’re looking for a training course, a webinar, newsletters, publications, or members’ area materials and resources.

First impressions count, so apart from wanting to make the new website more visually pleasing and practical to use for members and for non-members, it also underpins our credibility and image as a professional organisation, so that users should quickly understand the value of being part of our interpretive community.
The task begins now, starting with a short online survey to gather your experiences and suggestions on how the website can be redesigned to best support our membership, and attract new members. The new version of the website will be developed this summer, then tested and fine-tuned before being formally launched at the end of this year.
Your views and experiences are key to the process, so we kindly invite you to complete the user survey HERE and submit it by midnight on Friday 3 April 2026. The redesign of the IE website is supported by the HI-People EU network grant.
